The original Chippendale style chair is named for master London cabinet maker Thomas Chippendale. In the 1700s, this chair originally featured a top railing with a yoke shape, cabriole legs, and shell motifs. Mr. Chippendale was inspired by the shape of the Chinese Pagoda when creating the Chinese Chippendale Chair, hence its geometric frame. Our Chinese Chippendale Armchair features a faux bamboo frame in a sleek modern finish. It is made of wood and rattan, and it comes with a comfortable cushion.

Arrived with a broken leg, looked liked it was packed well but had some dents on the outside box.
Also, shippers never called 30 minutes before arrival. When the chair arrived on my front porch they rang the doorbell and immediately left, so much for needing a signature. I sent a message to Wisteria about the damage and they were nice offering several options. I opted to just do a return and refund. This is the second furniture delivery from Wisteria this summer that has arrived damaged.
