A few years ago, I swooped through France aiming to see as many chateaux as I could fit around my meal schedule. The Chateau de Chambord in the Loire Valley took my breath away, mainly because it looks like what you think of when someone says "French chateau."
It's all French Renaissance architecture with medieval forms, and it absolutely drips with opulence. I decided I needed some of this extra in my own life, and the Chambord Shelf is the result.
At 44 inches tall and just over 3 feet wide, it is just the size for storing and showing off objects and ephemera in a smaller space. Its glass shelves and metal frame are fine-looking but robust, and the sides are caged with thin metal detailing so precious items are safe and enclosed.
Dimensions: 37 x 15 x 44 in inches. Imported. Handling Fee is $60.
