Tainan Wu Planter Set of Three
We stumbled upon the Tainan Wu Garden during a trip to Taiwan a year or two ago. First built in 1828, various portions were added over the years (an inn, a library, a swimming pool) until the whole property was purchased by the Far East Department Store, a branch of which resides in the garden today. This rich history, coupled with a modern twist at the end, caught my attention, and I set about throwing a curve to another classic.
Hence, our trio of Tainan Wu Planters, a contemporary take on traditional terracotta pots--but with crisper lines, narrower lips, and forms made of metal. Use them as you would an inexpensive clay pot--they're waterproof, rustproof, and weatherproof--but let them shine! (They can't help it)
