A friend has a little cottage on the coast of Massachusetts, and I was thrilled to get to stay a few days out there. One night we stayed in for dinner, and she plated our salads with the most fabulous serving set--the handles were wrapped with thin rope! She beamed as she told us they’d been a housewarming present from her husband.

We share our own Rockport Salad Set here; the spoon, fork, and scoop (brilliant for composed salads such as tuna or egg salads) are made of stainless steel with a shiny nickel finish and rope-wrapped handles.
