Scott End Table
I was visiting my friend Scott in Denver, where he has a very small but sophisticated 1940s house. He had been furnishing it with the help of a designer friend, and I was impressed with their choices. In the tiny living room was a pair of end tables on spindly metal legs; they took up almost no space visually, but they were important pieces: That’s where guests set their drinks and where Scott kept the remote.
I knew something similar would be a hit, so I created the Scott End Table. It’s slim and spare but with the unexpected addition of blocks of end-grain pine laid on the diagonal on the top. It’s just the right amount of intriguing. It coordinates with the Scott Console and Cocktail Table.
