Shang Dynasty Vase
The Shang Dynasty was the first to produce high-fired glazed ceramics in 1700-1027 BC. They were originally used for storing, cooking, and serving food, as well as carrying water. Pottery has come a long way since then. While some are still used for storage, the majority have been refined to a point where they are mostly decorative.
This distressed, white crackle finished jar has a semi-gloss finish with a matte grey naturally rough lip to give it a rustic vintage feel. Although it could be used in a kitchen for storage, it would look great with a dried flower arrangement in a cottage or farmhouse setting.
Dimensions: 15.5 x 15.5 x 15.5 in inches. Material: Ceramic. Finish: Distressed White. Imported. Handling Fee is $10.
