What do Scotland, Ireland, Japan and Canada have in common -- some really terrific whiskies! Something I am sure you would have guessed in a minute if you had not known this already.
Each of the whiskies from these countries - single select or blended are a measure of pure achievement. Man's finest hour in some sense and certainly a reflection of their talent, relentless desire for perfection and some good luck! And I am happy to say that I have indeed had the pleasure of sampling a goodly number of these whiskies.
And while each of these offerings on their own are magnificent - a sampler trio that was given to me recently beautifully packaged in three distinctive decanters - really made a big impression on me.
The Windowpane Decanter is similar to one from that collection - I said to myself - if one must drink, then they should do this in fine style! And while decanting a whiskey does not make it any better, it certainly will lift your spirit and your style quotient! Enjoy!
Sized to fit a 750-mL bottle of whiskey, rye or bourbon, the decanter is made of polished glass with a hand-cut windowpane grid and a glass stopper at the neck.
