This year we at Wisteria take pride in supporting the mission of The International Elephant Fund (IEF). As a child I lived for a while in Assam, India on a Tea Plantation next to the Kaziranga National Park and Reserve - www.kaziranga-national-park.com . My love and respect for these majestic creatures go back to those times. I was awestruck by their size, and yet their grace and gentleness. Elephants in Asia enjoy a level of interconnectivity with humans – our past and future are entwined, and we are happy to support the work of the International Elephant Fund (IEF). ​

The International Elephant Fund (IEF) has an encompassing mission of protecting elephants and their habitat the world over – from Africa to Asia. Projects protect elephants from poaching, seek solutions for human-elephant conflict, equip and train community conservationists, increase our knowledge of the treatment and prevention of disease and educate people.​
