My great aunt Annabelle was what people used to call "a character." She never married, was a longtime smoker, and wore red lipstick every day--we kids adored her because of her boisterous laugh and because she always carried gum in her purse. Now that I'm a single aunt myself, there's something else to love about Annabelle: She was a longtime fan of animal prints. "They go with EVERYTHING," she used to tell me when I asked about the cheetah wallpaper in her boudoir, her tiger striped high heels, and the leopard print faux fur jacket she wore to church.
In her honor we introduce the Zebra Stool. Think of it as a neutral--for it very nearly is one--and invite it into all kinds of décor, from traditional to glamorous, and watch your rooms spring to life. It may be the only piece of furniture that both Ernest Hemingway and Aunt Annabelle could agree on.
