The Secret Garden Bouquet
Frances Hodgson Burnett’s book The Secret Garden was first published in 1911. I won’t spoil the ending, but it gives away nothing to say that it involves an abandoned garden that was rediscovered by two children. “Oh! The things which happened in that garden! It would take a whole book to describe all that came to pass there,” Burnett wrote in one chapter, and indeed, words barely do justice to garden goings-on.
Our Secret Garden Bouquet of blue hydrangeas in a glass pedestal base is also hard to describe with mere words, but its beauty is clear. Less obvious is that these blooms are made entirely of silk fabric cut, stamped, and painted by hand. That’s a secret worth revealing!
